Amazing Transliterating Bookmarklets!

Suppose you were on a site that had some Hebrew text, and you wanted to see that text in transliteration. Wouldn't it be convenient if your browser had a button that automatically transliterated any text that you selected? That's exactly what these "bookmarklets" are for.

Below, there are several links that say "Transliterate." These are not normal links. Don't click them; that's not how they work.

  1. Drag one of these links up to your browser's toolbar. This will create a bookmark button on your toolbar that says "Transliterate".
  2. Then, browse the internet as usual.
  3. When you are on a page containing Hebrew text that you want to transliterate, just select the Hebrew text on that page and press the "Transliterate" button on your toolbar.
